My trip to Bangladesh

The capital of Bangladesh is Dhaka Dhaka, formerly Dacca, is the capital and largest city of Bangladesh. It is located in the geographic center of the country in the great deltaic region of the Ganges and Brahmaputra rivers. government is a multi-party parlimentary lead by Begum Khaleda Zia Bangladesh is governed by a multi-party parliamentary system of government. The executive power of the republic is exercised by or on the advice of the Prime Minister who commands the support of the majority members of Parliament and is appointed by the President. Other ministers, state ministers and deputy ministers are appointed by the Prime Minister.

Religion: The total population is about 130 million people and About 80 percent of Bangladeshis are Muslims, making Bangladesh one of the largest Muslim countries in the world. The Muslim community in Bangladesh tends to be accomodating to other faiths and beliefs and Bangladesh is known for its lack of communal strife. Hinduism is professed by about 13 percent of the population. There are also significant numbers of Buddhists in Bangladesh. Bangladesh also has a very small Christian community.

a temple in the chittagong hills Transportation: there are 11 airports in Bangladesh. Bangladesh is a riverine country, river transport is the most common. Travelling in and around Dhaka isn't as easy as in other countries you can't take taxis everywhere. A small amount of taxis have just been introduced to the country. For short distances within the city we rode in a rickshaw; a human pedaled vehicle kind of like a bike with a shaded cover.

Hotel: while I was there I stayed in The Pan Pacific Sonargaon a 4 star hotel located in Dhaka. The rooms were nice and there were 3 swimming pools. Housing: The native people live in small houses as well as apartments. The living conditions are actually a bit similar to ours. they have little cities as well as tribal living. In the tribal colonies the people live in shacks and small mud huts.

Places to visit: rajshahi is located in the Northwest corner of Bangladesh, it was the center of the silk Industry, and an important cultural center. khulna another large city is majorly influenced by the Ganges, which find their way into the Bay of Bengal through bunch of waterways, making two-thirds of Khulna marshland or dense jungle consisting of mangrove swamps, it is densly populated by wildlife. It is home to the bengal tiger. Some of the other places you might want to vist would be the tea gardens and the beautifull arctechture.
